Is this a real security camera?

No. It is a solar-powered LED light with a simulated camera design. It does not record video, stream footage or connect to a monitoring app.

Does it need an electrical connection?

Will it charge on cloudy days?

Reduced daylight can still contribute to charging, but less sunlight means less stored energy. For the best results, place the panel in a sunny position without shade from roofs, trees or other obstructions.
